2011-2012. For more than 10 years spreading the principles of tolerance is one of the priorities for "Zinvory Mayr" NGO. It was expressed in many programs. And it is naturally that "Soldiers' mothers meeting" program implementing by support of the USA Embassy in Armenia is entirely devoted to tolerance.
In December 2011 in Tbilisi held the meeting with the azerbajanian soldiers’ parents. By the way, azerbajanian organization El-Center few times collaborated with our organization in the similar programs. Plans for further cooperation were made during a Tbilisi meeting. Following that plans "Zinvory Mayr" NGO started teaching tolerance among youth. To implement paragraphs of Memorandum signed in Tbilisi activities are being taken. There in particular is said:
"… determined to do what is necessary to establish the ideals of tolerance in Armenian and Azerbajanian societies, because tolerance is not only the most important principle but also a necessary condition for peace and social-economic development for all peoples.
- pledge to promote tolerance and nonviolence, using the programs and institutions in educational, scientific, cultural and communicational spheres."

Our partner-organization in Azerbayjan also organizes similar activities. Resently we have received from them a new offer of cooperation in the cultural sphere. Understanding of similarities and features of cultures will become an expression of inter-cultural understanding and, as a result, of tolerance. It will also promote to establish tolerant situation in the region.

In March, 2012 "Zinvory Mayr" NGO held a "Lesson of Tolerance" for the students of preparatoty faculty, which acts by the organization from 1994 for military men children. It was cognitive for our children-beneficiaries. Similar activities for schoolchildren and teachers are also planned.

2011, December 9-11. An International meeting of Armenian and Azerbaidjanian soldiers’ mothers was held in Tbilisi.
The meeting was organized by "Zinvory Mair" NGO in a project funded by the US Embassy in Armenia. From the azerbaidjanian side the organizer was “El-Center” organization. Soldiers’ fathers and mothers from both countries met in Tbilisi to discuss issues of tolerant coexistence in the region. Before the Tbilisi meeting participants from both countries trained and acquired tolerance and interpersonal communication knowledge and skills. The training was held in conference hall of “Sympathy” hotel in Tbilisi, where the participants lived. The training conducted by an expert of Armenia RC Anahit Hovnanyan and trainer Arshavir Ghukasyan. Topical and role-played games were used during the training. A review of videos on tolerance was held as well. A bilateral Memorandum on the principles of tolerant coexistence in the region was sighed on December11.

2007. At financial support of "Eurasia" Foundation the program "Migration and civil society" is realized in Armenia and Russia.

2006. At financial support of "Tufenkyan" Foundation continues function the free-of-charge preparatory faculty for receipt in high school in all subjects for children of lost and wounded military men, bilateral orphans, and also for children-refugees. Since 2006 Armenian Fond for Armenian Relief was joined to this work.

2006. The Organization is a member of anticorruption coalition "Anticorr". At financial support of Erevan office of OSCE organization has realized the program "Creation public receiving in marzes of RA ". There were created receiving in 5 marzes of Armenia, as well as in Arabkir district of Erevan. This work will be continued at the united Centre on corruption of OSCE.

2004. The regional program "Mail "Hope"" together with the Centre of Researches of Azerbaijan is realized which users are refugees of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The purpose of the project - restoration of former friendly connections between former neighbors, colleges, friends, class-mates.
The letters of "Mail" were on household level and were rather tolerant. The book on "Mail" materials was issued.

2004-2005. At financial support of "Eurasia" Foundation the program "Well-information of population through New technologies" is realized, within the framework of which the book "Our the son and national army" in the Armenian and Russian languages, updated and expanded, becomes accessible to thousand users through the Internet connection.

2004. The organization became a member of Monitoring Working Group at President of RA on struggle against corruption, and the chairman of the organization heads Group on public health services.

2003. The regional program together with Georgia and Azerbaijan NGOs "Peace building lessons: leaders school" for refugee communities' leaders of three countries of Southern Caucasus.

2003-2004. The program "On the way to healthy army" was realized within the framework of which researches of mechanisms of diagnostics of sick recruits were carried out. The program was implemented at financial support of Embassy of Netherlands in Georgia. The brochure according to program material was issued.

2002-2003. The program on revealing the non-authorized relations resulting to tragical consequences is executed /financingbythe British Embassy/.

2000-2003. Long-term special research on questions of alternative service is carried out. In 2003 the international conference on questions of alternative service is carried out. At the same year the voluminous book according to the conference material was issued. At present the organization conducts constant monitoring of employees on alternative service.

2000-2001. The mechanism of revealing of sick soldier and recruits is developed and applied.

2000. For the Russian-speaking population, basically for refugees translation of the book "Our the son and national army" in Russian is issued.

1999-2002. At financial assistance of Great Britain Embassy with "Avangard" NGO and Democracy National Center the program "Democracy in action" was implemented within the framework of which the manual for officers "Know wisdom…" was issued in armenian and russian. In the book are collected a material on international law.

1999-2000. The program "Knowledge of the law in a way to a legal society" has been implemented by financial support of "Eurasia'" Foundation.

1999. The free-of-charge computer class for orphans operates.

1999. Successfully realized the program "Legal Education to the Soldiers' Mothers" within the framework of which substantive statements of call-up were explained to mothers.

1998. By financial support of UNHCR were executed the program "Public organization straightening with assistance of NGO Center".

The constantly operating special group at the Committee is engaged in explanatory work among senior-form pupils and also their families at schools and in a living places.

Experts - lawyers of Committee constantly cooperate with Military Prosecutor Office of RA. Members of presidium participate at judicial sessions at the disposal of legal proceeding, concerning rights of recruits, military men and their families. The committee constantly conducts explanatory work among refugees - pre-recruits with the purpose of maintenance for them a legal field.

1998. Within the framework of "Migration Prevention for the Defense of the Motherland" joint program of Committee and the Union of Young lawyers, sponsored by IOM the book "Our son and national army" was issued. The book is republished four times, the total number of copies - 6000.

1998-2005. The Committee members have been involved in Appeal Committees ofRegional Military Registration of republic under the order of Minister of Defense of RA.

1998-2003. The chairman of Committee participated in works of the Commission of Human Rights at President of RA, it promoted the fast resolution of problems, connected to complaints according rights of military men.

1998. The Committee has been awarded with a Medal "Golden Heart" for kindness without borders by International organization "Women for peace and harmony " founded by Margaret Tetcher.

1998. The organization is a member of Working Group on integration and repatriation of refugees of the Geneva Conference.

1996. Committee has opened the medical Centre for the parents of soldier who are on the military service, giving them free-of-charge consultation and services in diagnostics.

1996. Together with the International Red Cross programs according the decision of problems of invalids are realized.

1995. The Committee has established the Psychological Rehabilitation Center for mothers of killed soldiers. As result of such rehabilitation many mothers, who lost interest to life, have returned to normal activity.

1994. At Committee it is created and functioning till now the free-of-charge preparatory faculty for receipt in high school in all subjects for children of lost and wounded military men, bilateral orphans, and also for children-refugees. Faculty worked at financial support of Armenian Diaspora at the head with Arman Bedikyan, and since 2000 faculty was supported with "Tufenkyan" Charitable Foundation. For 16 years of functioning 500 students have finished the faculty, 420 from them study in high schools of Armenia. About 200 kids received diplomas.

1993. In October the Committee has called the International conference "Nobody is forgotten", as a result of which on consideration of the Government were submitted problems connected to rights and social security of mothers and widows of lost military men.

1992. On an appeal of Committee 300 women-volunteers provided nursing for about 2.500 injured soldiers in 16 hospitals.

1992-93. Due to the special invitation of the Government of Iran and the efforts committed by the Committee 209 children-orphans were taken to Teheran where they spent winter months in the Armenian families. These children were in lists of especially requiring orphans, made on the basis of a databank of Committee and Countrymen Assembly "Artsakh".

1992. The Committee organized International Conference "Mothers against violence" in Yerevan in September, where there was accepted a resolution which appeals mothers of the world to fight for peace. To this resolution have joined more than 40countries.

1990. The committee has taken part in the All-Union Congress of soldier's mothers in Moscow, having presented on the Congress the documents confirming pernicious for Armenian people a consequence of operation "The Ring".

1989. The initiative group of the Armenian women accompanied recruits to the educational center Vaziani /Georgia/ where Armenian soldiers have accepted the military oath under the Armenian flag for the first time.
